What a research peptide is
A peptide is a short chain of amino acids, shorter than a protein. The compounds on this page are synthetic versions of sequences that appear in biological research, supplied as a lyophilised powder: freeze-dried, sealed under vacuum in a glass vial, stable for years when kept cold and dark.
What separates one supplier from another is not the molecule. It is whether the vial contains what the label says, whether the purity figure refers to the batch you were sent, and whether the claims made about the compound match what has actually been published. Those three things are checkable, and the rest is marketing.
How ordering and shipping works
Stock is held in Canada, so an order moves domestically: no border crossing, no customs hold, no import charge and no brokerage fee appearing a week later. Orders placed before the cut-off are packed the next business day once payment clears, and every parcel is tracked to the door.
Payment is by Interac e-Transfer or cryptocurrency. The details appear as soon as the order is placed and your order reference identifies the payment, so nothing is charged until you send it and we never see or store card details. Crypto orders take 3% off.
Transit is two to five business days depending on province. Lyophilised powder is stable at ambient temperature in transit, which is why these ship without a cold chain and why no cold-chain surcharge applies. Packaging is plain, with the batch number on the vial inside rather than anything on the outside.
Storing what you receive
Sealed vials go cold and dark on arrival: a freezer for anything held long term, a fridge for material in current use. What degrades a lyophilised peptide is light, moisture and repeated temperature cycling, not the journey from us to you, so a vial taken in and out of a freezer daily will fare worse than one that travelled for a week.
Reconstituted material is a different thing from the dry powder and keeps for far less time. Record the date it was mixed alongside the batch number; that pairing is the only thing that lets a result be traced back to the exact material that produced it.
Nasal sprays arrive as a finished solution and take no bacteriostatic water. Capsules are a dry oral format and take none either. Only the lyophilised vials are supplied dry, and those are the only format bacteriostatic water applies to.
Working out concentration
Reconstitution is arithmetic. A vial holds a known mass of peptide; add a known volume of bacteriostatic water and the concentration is the first divided by the second. A 10 mg vial with 2 mL of diluent gives 5 mg/mL, which is the figure every subsequent calculation in a protocol starts from.
Our calculator does that conversion for any vial size and volume, and shows the resulting concentration in mg/mL and mcg/mL along with how long the solution keeps. It is a conversion tool for laboratory record-keeping, not a dosing guide: it does not convert into syringe markings or suggest an amount to use, because nothing here is supplied for use in a person.
What the evidence on these compounds actually looks like
Most research peptides have a literature made up of rodent and cell-culture work, with a handful of small human studies and, occasionally, a controlled trial. That is the honest shape of this field, and it is why every compound page here lists its studies with the model each one used rather than summarising them into a benefit.
Several compounds in this catalogue have no human study at all. Their pages say so in the opening paragraph. A few, such as tirzepatide and semaglutide, correspond to ingredients in authorized Canadian medicines and have large trial records behind the licensed product, which is a different thing from the research material sold here.
What a research peptide costs in Canada
Prices are per vial in Canadian dollars and include the HPLC certificate for the batch you receive. The largest vial is always the best per-milligram rate, and buying 3, 5 or 10 of any vial takes a further 4%, 6% or 8% off.

Questions about buying research peptides
Where can I buy research peptides in Canada?
From a supplier holding stock in Canada, so the order ships domestically with no customs step. Borealis Peptides ships from Canadian stock to research and business addresses, with HPLC testing on every batch and the certificate tied to the batch number on your vial. Orders are packed the next business day once payment clears.
What is the best place to buy peptides in Canada?
Judge it on three checkable things rather than on the site design: whether the certificate of analysis names your batch, whether the testing was done by a third-party laboratory, and whether the claims about each compound match the published studies. A supplier who will not send the certificate for the batch you received has answered the question.
How much do research peptides cost in Canada?
From about $37 for a small vial to around $200 for the largest sizes. Price per milligram is shown on every card above so sizes compare directly, and the largest vial is always the best rate. Buying 3, 5 or 10 vials takes a further 4%, 6% or 8% off.
Is there a peptide calculator on this site?
Yes. The peptide calculator converts a vial size and a volume of bacteriostatic water into a concentration in mg/mL and mcg/mL, which is what a laboratory records alongside the batch number. It stops at concentration: it does not convert into syringe markings and it does not suggest an amount to use.
Do I need bacteriostatic water?
Only for the lyophilised vials, which arrive as a dry powder. Nasal sprays ship as a finished solution and capsules are a dry oral format, so neither takes any liquid. Bacteriostatic water is sold separately and ships with the rest of your order.
How do I pay, and is it secure?
Interac e-Transfer or cryptocurrency. The details appear as soon as the order is placed and your order reference identifies the payment. We never see or store card details, because payment goes directly through your own bank or wallet. Crypto orders take 3% off.
How long does delivery take within Canada?
Two to five business days depending on province, packed the next business day after payment clears and tracked to the door. Lyophilised powder is stable at ambient temperature, so no cold-chain surcharge applies.
Are research peptides legal in Canada?
Buying material for laboratory research is a different act from selling an unauthorized drug or using one in a person. Most of these compounds hold no Drug Identification Number, which means Health Canada has not assessed them, and each compound page states its own position. Health Canada has said a "research use only" label does not make a product legal to use in a person.
What purity do you supply?
At least 98% by HPLC, with identity confirmed by mass spectrometry. Testing is per batch rather than per product, and the certificate names the batch printed on your vial. Batches below 98% are not sold.
Can I order in bulk or for a laboratory?
Yes. Quantity pricing applies automatically at 3, 5 and 10 vials, and larger or institutional orders are quoted within one business day through the wholesale page. Bulk orders ship with the certificate for each batch supplied.
